Day 01:
Delhi
On arrival at the Delhi airport, meet our representative who?ll escort you to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. Spend the entire day at leisure. In the evening take a leisurely walk to explore the pulsating nightlife of Delhi. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02:
Delhi
Next morning after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Delhi. The major tourist attractions to visit in Delhi include Red Fort, India Gate, Parliament House, Humayun?s tomb, Qutub Minar and Raj Ghat. In the evening revisit Red Fort to witness the impressive light and sound show. Enjoy a lavish dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03:
Delhi
In the morning after breakfast, proceed to visit the other major tourist attractions of Delhi. The attractions scheduled for the day include Garden of Five Senses, Lotus Temple, Jama Masjid, ISKCON temple, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and Jantar Mantar. Later in the day, enjoy an excursion to the beautiful Akshardham temple for its intricate design and architecture. Also enjoy exploring the Hall of Values, Giant Screen Film, boat ride and the Musical Fountains inside its complex. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04:
Delhi ? Leh
On the following morning after breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport to board a flight to Delhi. On reaching Leh, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Spend the day in acclimatizing to the high altitude change in Leh before engaging in any physical activity. The rarefied atmosphere may cause high altitude ailments like Acute Mountain Sickness. In the evening you may move out of your hotel room and take a leisurely walk to explore the nearby areas of Leh. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05:
Leh
Post breakfast, move out for a sightseeing tour of Leh. The major tourist attractions of Leh include Leh Palace, Stok Palace and Museum, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and the Sankar Gompa. Return to the hotel for lunch and rest for a while in the cozy surroundings of your hotel room. In the evening proceed to visit Shanti Stupa to witness the beautiful sunset. Return to the hotel in the evening to enjoy a sumptuous dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06:
Leh
Today the day is reserved to visit the Hemis monastery and exploring the Thiksey village. Hemis monastery, the Tibetan Buddhist monastery is the wealthiest monastery in India and is situated at a distance of 45 Kms from Leh. The monastery features a great collection of ancient remnants like the statue of Buddha made of copper, stupas made of gold and silver. The monastery also has sacred Thangkas, murals and various artifacts. After the visit to the Hemis monastery resume the drive to Thiksey Village. On reaching Thiksey village visit the famous Thiksey monastery and the Shey Palace. Explore this typical Ladakhi village and the locale in their natural habitat. In the evening return to Leh and retire for the night at the Leh hotel.
Day 07:
Khardungla Pass
Next morning after breakfast set off to explore the Khardungla Pass. This pass also known as the ?Pass of Lower Castle? is located on the way to Nubra valley in Ladakh. It is the highest motorable road in the world. While travelling through this pass, tourists can enjoy the beautiful view of the Karakoram and Ladakh range that lie to its north and south respectively. Stay the night at the hotel in Leh.
Day 08:
Leh
Post breakfast, move out for a sightseeing tour of Stok, Matho and Stakna monastery. After the visit to the monasteries, return to the hotel for lunch. Rest and relax for a while in the hotel room. In the evening, meet the other trek teammates and begin your trek preparations. Stay the night in the hotel room.
Day 09:
Leh ? Spituk ? Zinchen
After the breakfast take a 15 minute drive to reach Spituk village. The Spituk village is located at a distance of 7 Kms from Leh. On reaching Spituk, start trekking to Zingchen. For the initial two hours walk on the flat surface which is good for acclimatization. Later enter the Zingchen valley following the river on the left bank. Spend the rest of the day exploring and acclimatize to the place. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the camps.
Day 10:
Zinchen ? Yurutse
Post breakfast start for today?s trekking. The initial part of the trail gradually ascends to one of the beautiful walks in the snow-leopard area. While exploring the area on foot you may come across a lot of wildlife. At the end of the gorge you will reach Rumbak village. Now follow the trail that continues on the right to the tiny settlements of Yurutse. Stay the night in the camp.
Day 11:
Yurutse ? Shingo
Today after an early breakfast, follow the trail beside the river until the valley widens. After enjoying a short walk for 10 minutes walk across the river to the right hand side. Visit the Golden Eagle nest while passing. Then ascend the Gangala Pass from here enjoy the spectacular view of the Stok Kangri massif from the top of the Gangala Pass on a clear day. Overnight stay in the camps at Shingo.
Day 12:
Shingo ? Skiu
In the morning after breakfast, leave for Skiu. Trek down to Skiu valley where you will see a number of streams. Feel enchanted viewing the spectacular panorama of the valley. In the evening enjoy dinner and overnight stay in the camp.
Day 13:
Skiu ? Markha
Today after breakfast enjoy walking to the beautiful section of the Markha valley. Pass through the woody bushes along the river, spanned by several small bridges over which the trail leads to Thinlespa. Enjoy this pleasant walk experiencing the spectacular panorama of the valley. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.
Day 14:
Markha ? Nimaling
Today after breakfast trek from Markha to the Nimaling. �To reach Nimaling trek down the Markha River passing the small settlements, willow plantations before reaching the Hankar village. On reaching Nimaling explore this plain area featuring a tiny ponds and streams flowing all over its meadows. While exploring the place enjoy the sight of animals like yak, dzos, sheep, goats, horses and Himalayan marmots and white tailed hares. Enjoy camping at the base of the Kang-Yutze peak on the plains of Nimaling.
Day 15:
Nimaling
Today spend the day resting and relaxing in the camps. You may take a leisurely walk to explore the nearby area of Nimaling. Spend the evening as to your liking. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.
Day 16:
Nimaling ? Kangmaru La ? Chokdo
After a sumptuous breakfast, continue the trek from Nimaling to Chokdo crossing to the north of Markha. Climb up to the highest of the three passes Kongmarula Pass. Now follow the descending steep trail to reach Martselang valley and crossing many streams and enjoying stunning views and finally arrive in Chokdo. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in the camps.
Day 17:
Chokdo ? Martselang ? Hemis ? Leh
Early morning after breakfast, start for a scenic trek down a narrow valley of rocks. The beauty of the place is enhanced by the presence of rocks which features different hue and colors in Maratselang. Later in the day drive to Hemis monastery, finally move towards Leh. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 18:
Leh ? Alchi
In the morning after breakfast drive straight to Alchi with packed lunch. Stop midway to visit the Alchi monastery. The monastery is situated on the banks of Indus River. This beautiful monastery is mainly known for its magnificent and well-preserved 11th or 12th century wall paintings, all in an Indo-Himalayan style. On reaching Alchi, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while explore the Alchi monastery. After exploring the monastery, proceed to visit the beautiful village of Mangyu. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Alchi.
Day 19:
Alchi ? Lamayuru ? Leh
In the morning after breakfast, proceed to visit the Lamayuru monastery. The monastery is situated in Lamayuru village, the village famous for its lunar landscape. The monastery complex has a small temple dedicated to Avalokiteshwara. After the visit, enjoy hot lunch while driving back to Leh. Enjoy overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 20:
Leh ? Rumtse ? Kyamar
In the morning starts for an exciting drive to Rumtse. It is the first human settlement on the way from Lahaul to Ladakh. Located at a distance of 70 Kms to the east of Leh, Rumtse lies in the Rupshu valley. The place is known for its barren landscape and beautiful scenic beauty. The place attracts a large number of trekkers. The trek from Rumtse to Tso Moriri is very popular. After exploring Rumtse drive straight to Kyamar.� On reaching Kyamar, get accommodated at one of our listed hotels. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at Kyamar.
Day 21:
Kyamar ? Tisaling
Energize yourself with a proper breakfast for a challenging day ahead. Begin the day with a gradual ascent towards Kumur La pass to enjoy the spectacular views of the Changthang range.� While steadily descending towards the base of the next pass you may pass by nomads with their herds of sheep, yaks and goat. Take some rest and, later, proceed to the Mandalchan La pass; from here descend to the camping site at the pastureland of Tisaling.
Day 22:
Tisaling ? Ponganabu
Today after an early morning breakfast, move out to conquer Shibuk La the third pass situated at a height of 4900m. On reaching the top of the pass enjoy a splendid view of the surrounding mountains and Tsokar Lake. Then descend down to the valley accompanied by the shrill whistles of the shy and active marmots which forms the highlight of this harsh region. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at the camps in Ponganabu.
Day 23:
Ponganagu ? Nuruchan
Today morning after breakfast, drive to Tsokar Lake following a dusty jeep route. Enjoy the sight of endangered migratory birds of the world along the salty shores of the Tsokar Lake. After the visit to the Toskar Lake move forward along the trail to the right of the lake and keep to a barren land until reaching Nuruchan. On reaching Nuruchan, check-in at one of our listed camps for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 24:
Nuruchan ? Gyamar Barma
In the morning after the breakfast, get set for a tough day ahead as you will cross the icy cold stream in Nuruchan after which you gradually start ascending to Horlam Kongka La. From the top of the pass enjoy the view of the turquoise blue Tsokar Lake. Following a 40-minute easy walk down the trail you reach Rajungkaru. Stop midway for a cup of butter tea with the nomads, after which continue to ascend to the Kyamayuru La pass. Enjoy a cold night at the Gyamar Barma.
Day 25:
Gyamar Barma
Post breakfast, head to the next pass in the trail, the Kartse La pass. Ascending slowly in the thin air of the plateau, we will eventually reach the pass. The trail leads gradually down to the lush green valley of the Gyamar, where we spend our night.
Day 26:
Gyamar ? Korzok
Today, gradually ascend towards the highest pass on the trek. Follow the narrow valley until reaching the Yalung Nyaulung La pass. On reaching the Nyaulung La pass, enjoy the view of snowcapped mountains and the Tsomoriri Lake. We descend steeply for a couple of hours to the Korzok Phu, the summer pasture of the Korzok people. From the pasture, we continue to the Korzok, the destination of our adventure. Enjoy an overnight stay at Korzok.
Day 27:
Korzok ? Leh
Today after breakfast drive back to Leh. On reaching Leh, check-in at the hotel and relax in the cozy comfort of its room. Spend the entire day in accordance to your liking. In the evening you may take a leisurely walk to explore the nearby area of Leh. Retire for the night at the hotel.
Day 28:
Leh ? Delhi
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Leh airport to board a flight to Delhi. Upon reaching the Delhi airport, meet our representative who?ll escort you to one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax in the cozy comfort of your hotel room for the entire day. In the evening enjoy a lavish dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 29:
Delhi
Today after enjoying a leisurely morning, move out to explore Chandni Chowk, the oldest and the busiest market of Old Delhi. It is the best place to shop for souvenirs for friends and families. After exploring the market return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 30:
Departure from Delhi.
Take transfer to Railway station / Airport to continue journey.
