Day 11:

Kovalam

On day 11, take a stroll on the beaches of Kovalam and explore the surroundings and tranquil locales. Kovalam means the grove of palm trees, and the place is named so because it is blessed with the beauty of palm trees. This is one of the best places to explore during your Kerala trip. Go for a scenic walk on the white sandy beaches, and spend some fun time sunbathing or playing with the waves. There are many things to enjoy, like watching the fantastic sunset while relishing seafood or relaxing amidst the breathtaking beauty of the pine forest.

Day 12:

Kovalam

Wake up to a beautiful morning and have your breakfast at the hotel. Day 12 of your Kerala itinerary is free at leisure for independent activities. You can experience the magic of Kerala Ayurveda at one of the many Ayurveda Spa Resorts in Kovalam. You can visit the market in the evening to purchase aromatic spices, handicrafts, wooden statues, and much more.

Day 13:

Kovalam -Trivandrum (Departure)

Today is the last day of your beautiful Kerala tour itinerary. Have breakfast in the hotel and transfer to Trivandrum International airport to board the flight for your onward journey. If time permits, you can enjoy sightseeing in Trivandrum and visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the Napier Museum, Zoological Park, etc.

Day 01:

Cochin (Arrival)

Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, an Bharatatva Holiday representative will assist you with transferring to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel and take some rest. The remaining day is free to spend on your own. Here you can explore Kerala folklore through art and culture in several heritage sites. You can also enjoy the taste of traditional Kerala dishes at one of the fine restaurants here.

Day 02:

Cochin Sightseeing

On day 2 of your tour to Kerala, embark on a sightseeing tour of Cochin arranged by our tour representative. The attractions you will explore today include Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, Bolghatty Palace, Kerala History Museum, Gunda & Willingdon Islands, Hill Palace Museum, and Santa Cruz Basilica, and Parishnath Taamburan Museum. In the evening, proceed to witness the spectacular Kathakali dance performance. Later, return to the hotel after the day's excursion.

Day 03:

Cochin - Munnar (127 k/ 3 hours 41 min Approx)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel this morning and leave by road for Munnar. Enjoy a scenic ride to the most beautiful hill station in Kerala. On reaching, check in at the hotel and freshen up. Then, spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing walk amid the lovely green surroundings and soak in the beauty of Munnar. You can also visit the local markets to explore traditional products.

Day 04:

Munnar Sightseeing Tour

Today take delight in the breathtaking beauty of the Munnar and explore the verdant fragrant tea plantations. Today, you will explore The attractions enlisted for today's excursion. You will cover Christ Church, Eravikulam National Park, Tea Museum, Echo Point, Mattupetty Dam, and Anamudi Peak. These places are popular tourist attractions and offer plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and photography. Later, explore the well-known old town market of Munnar. Finally, visit the century-old Christ Church amid the beautiful and tranquil environment in the old Munnar.

Day 05:

Munnar to Periyar by Road (85 km/ 2 hours,40 mint)

In the morning, hit the road to reach Periyar at Thekkady. On reaching Periyar, you will be transferred to the hotel. Post lunch set out to explore the local fishing village, take the pleasure of observing the honey collection process, and marvel at the verdant flora of the place.

Day 06:

Periyar Tour

Early morning, proceed for a boat safari on Periyar Lake. During your ride, spot the elephants bathing on the lakeside. Brave souls can enjoy hiking, bamboo rafting, and jungle patrol along the park trail. Admire the beauty of the serene lake that offers eternal beauty during the sunrise and sunset. After the safari, proceed for a visit to the spice plantation.

Day 07:

Periyar - Kumarakom(122 km/3 hours 30 min)

In the morning, proceed to Kumarakom. Upon arrival, check into the backwater resort. Post lunch, set out for a fun-filled backwater cruise. Experience the pure delight as you sail on the serene backwater with views of charming villages, coconut groves, paddy fields, colorful birds, etc. On the way, explore the avifauna population at Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.

Day 08:

Kumarakom City Tour

Day 8 of your Kerala tour package is free for you to relax amidst the scenic environs of Kumarakom. You can relax on the palm-swayed beach or go for an Ayurvedic massage to invigorate yourself.

Day 09:

Kumarakom - Alleppey (33 km / 55 min)

Your Kerala trip plan includes a whole day and night on the backwater. On day 9 morning, you will board a traditional house at Kumarakom and reach Alleppey the following day, spending these long hours amid the eternal beauty and serenity of Kerala backwater. Start your day with a houseboat cruise through the beautiful backwater of Kerala. Glide on the tranquil waters of Lake Vembanad and marvel at the lush green spice plantations, fishing villages, and lake en route. Enjoy traditional cuisine while floating on the eternal water and viewing the sunset beyond the green horizon.

Day 10:

Alleppey - Kovalam

In the morning, disembark the houseboat at Alleppey and drive towards Kovalam. Upon arrival, check into the beach resort. The day is free to relax on the beach. Kovalam is a crescent-shaped beach that combines three beaches- Hawa, Samudra, and Lighthouse beach. Moreover, Kovalam beaches also offer a variety of water sports for adventure seekers.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
