The Karnataka with Backwaters tour takes you to the splendid Karnataka backwaters concealed in remote places. Many untamed backwaters can be seen in Coorg, Chikmagalur, Hassan, and other districts of Karnataka. Most backwaters are hidden in rivers such as Kaveri, Sharavathi, Thunga, and Bhadra. Day 01:

Delhi

On arrival at the Delhi airport, meet our representative, who'll escort you to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel. After straightening your back for a while, visit the major tourist attractions of Delhi, including Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and the Gandhi Memorial. In the evening, you can explore Delhi's pulsating nightlife. Later, have dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 02:

Delhi - Bangalore

After breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport to board a flight to Bangalore. On arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Bangalore, covering Shivasamudram Falls, St. Mark's Cathedral, ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna-Chandra Temple, and Wonderla Amusement Park. After lunch, visit famous sites like the Nandi and Vidhana Soudha temples. In the evening, board a flight to Bangalore. On arrival, check-in at one of our listed hotels for an overnight stay.

Day 03:

Bangalore - Mysore

In the morning, after breakfast, drive straight to Mysore. Stop midway to visit Srirangapatnam. The city is a house of some of the most spectacular monuments. On reaching Mysore, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Later in the day, embark on a city tour of Mysore. In the evening, move out to visit the Golden Royal Elephant, The Mysore Palace, Chamundeshwari Temple, Brindavan Gardens, the Mysore Zoo, and the Durbar Hall. You will be spending your night at the hotel. Also, visit the St. Philomena's Church, built in the Gothic style and is one of the largest churches in the country. Spend a night in the hotel.

Day 04:

Mysore - Coorg

After breakfast, drive to Coorg, one of Karnataka's most beautiful hill stations. The area is rich in coffee estates, pepper, and cardamom. On reaching Coorg, check-in at one of the listed hotels. Rest and relax for the day in your hotel room. In the evening, take a leisurely walk to explore the alluring surroundings of Coorg. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 05:

Coorg

The next morning, after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Coorg. The day's schedule includes the major tourist hotspots: Madikeri Fort, Gaddige Raja's Tomb, Nalknad Palace, and Abbey Falls. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 06:

Coorg - Wayanad

The following day, after breakfast, drive straight to Wayanad. Wayanad is a beautiful hilly region located in the southern region of the Deccan plateau. Hidden away in the hills of this land are some of the oldest tribes, as yet untouched by civilization. On reaching Wayanad, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while, we set off to visit the major tourist attractions of Wayanad, covering Edakkal Cave, Banasura Sagar Dam, Kuruva Dweep, Chembra Peak, and the Meenmutty Fall. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07:

Wayanad ? Cochin

After breakfast, head straight to Cochin by the surface. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. After relaxing, visit some of Cochin's major tourist attractions, like the Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, and Jewish Synagogue. Enjoy the spectacular view of giant Chinese fishing nets being lowered on the famous Vasco-da-Gama Square. Later in the evening, enjoy a boat cruise in the beautiful port city of Cochin. Retire for the night at the Cochin Hotel.

Day 08:

Cochin

Next day, wake up early, and after breakfast, take a leisurely walk to the Fish and Spice market of Cochin. The day is to be spent at leisure. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 09:

Cochin ? Kumarakom

After breakfast, head straight to Kumarakom. On reaching Kumarakom, check in at one of our listed houseboats for an overnight cruise to the Kerala backwaters. The backwaters of Kerala are a network of rivers, lagoons, streams, canals, and tanks occupying the plain between the Indian Ocean and the western ghats, running along the coast from Kollam to Kochi. A journey on the traditional long boats provides one of the most delightful experiences, giving a unique, quiet view of a Kerala village. Enjoy your overnight cruise.

Day 10:

Backwaters - Kumarakom

After breakfast on the cruise, you will finish your houseboat journey by midday and be fetched from the Alleppey finishing point. This pristine backwater town has a laid-back feel with its numerous coconut palm-lined waterways and tiny villages. Later in the day, you will start a sightseeing tour of Alleppey, visiting places like Karumadi, Krishnapuram Palace, Pandavan Rock, and the beautiful Alleppey beach. In the evening, you will return to Kumarakom for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11:

Kumarakom

Start early in the morning for Kumarakom. The place is a perfect paradise for bird watchers. On reaching Kumarakom, visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary. After bird watching, head to the hotel for check-in and breakfast. Later in the day, visit the Bay Island Driftwood Museum, which showcases a great collection of quality driftwood articles with high artistic value prepared through an innovative modern art technique. Enjoy dinner and a night stay in Kumarakom.

Day 12:

Kumarakom ? Periyar

After breakfast, start a guided walking tour of the spice villages scattered throughout Periyar. Learn more about the uses of spices to improve your skills in cooking good seafood. Spend the night at your hotel in Periyar.

Day 13:

Periyar

After breakfast, proceed to Periyar Wildlife Tiger Reserve for a jeep safari. Periyar is a true paradise for elephants. Later in the evening, you may enjoy a boat ride at Periyar Lake. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14:

Periyar - Munnar

After breakfast at the hotel, drive straight to Munnar. On arrival, get transferred to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. Munnar is an idyllic tourist destination offering an unending expanse of tea plantations. The lush green surroundings, lakes, reservoirs, and forests will enthrall you. Many adventure-seeking travelers keen on paragliding visit the place. Explore the Rajamala Hills. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 15:

Munnar

After breakfast, you will proceed to the sightseeing tour of Munnar. The major tourist hotspots scheduled for today are Atukkad Waterfalls, Chithirapuram, Blossom Park, and Pothamedu View Point. You will also enjoy an excursion to Eravikulam National Park, where you can find the endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr. In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 16:

Munnar - Cochin - Delhi

After breakfast, drive to the Cochin airport from Munnar to board a flight to Delhi. At the Delhi airport, catch your connecting flight for your onward journey.

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
