Day 01:

Arrival Ahmedabad

Your Gujarat Buddhist tour begins when you reach Ahmedabad Airport. On arrival, you will meet the tour representative and get an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After arriving there, you will complete your check-in formalities and head towards your room. Take a rest for a while and enjoy the facilities of this hotel. Once you unwind yourself, you will go out to enjoy the sightseeing tour of the Lalbhai Museum. Later, get back to your hotel and have your lip-smacking dinner, and enjoy an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 02:

Ahmedabad ? Vadnagar ? Taranga ? Shamla Ji ? Ahmedabad

Wake up in the morning and have your tasty morning meal. Once you finish your breakfast, you will get a straight drive to Shamla Ji, which takes around 3 hours from Ahmedabad. It is a significant Hindu pilgrimage center in the Aravalli district. On your way, you will stop at Taranga and Vadnagar and enjoy the view from the Taranga hill. After reaching Shamla Ji, you will proceed to Devni Mori, which is a Buddhist archaeological site and about 2 km from the city of Shamlaji. You will see 3rd, and 4th-century remains of Stupas persist and 4 carved images of Buddha on a plate that attracts Buddhist from all over the country. Later, you will drive back to Ahmedabad. Enjoy your mouth-watering dinner at the hotel and have a sound sleep in the hotel.

Day 03:

Ahmedabad ? Vadodara

Kickstart your day by munching a tasty breakfast. Once you have finished your morning meal, you get an assisted transfer for Vadodara. On arrival, you will step into the hotel and complete the process of check-in. Take some required rest in your room and be ready to explore some attractions of Vadodara. You will visit the MS University of Vadodara, which is a hub of Buddhist relics and remains, which are recovered from Northern Gujarati sites and Devni Mori. Next, you will move towards Bharuch, where you will be taken to Kadia Dungar, a group of ancient caves dating back to the 1st and 2nd Century AD and a dignified representation of Buddhist Architecture. After enjoying your day, you will return to Vadodara to enjoy your overnight stay.

Day 04:

Vadodara ? Talaja ? Diu

Get up early in the morning and enjoy your crunchy and tasty breakfast. Check out from the hotel and leave for Bhavnagar. You will visit Talaja Hills that holds the importance of Buddhism as there are about 30 ancient Buddhist caves cut into rocks. It is a 320 feet high hill town that also has a fine carving of Bodhisattva. The highlight of this hill is Ebhala Mandapa, which is a large hall that has four octagonal pillars. You also find a notable Jain temple on a hill alongside the town. The majestic caves are about 2000 years old and it requires around 15-20 min. walk up the hill to reach them. After that, you will head toward Diu. On arrival, follow the check-in formalities of the pre-booked hotel. Get some rest in your room and freshen up. You will proceed to visit Sana Caves, which are collections of enchanting 62 caves that date back to the 2nd century. Later, you will get back to your hotel and enjoy a restful sleep.

Day 05:

Diu ? Junagadh

Get up in the morning and munch your palatable breakfast. After finishing your morning meal, you will check out from the hotel and get a straight drive to Junagarh. On arrival, you will finish your check-in formalities and unwind yourself in a well-equipped room. Today you will explore Ashokan rock edicts, which refer to the 14 different Ashokan rock edicts and are located on Girnar Hills. Next, you will visit Baba Pyara caves, which are 1st and 2nd-century caves, which were carved out in stone to make a cozy home for Buddhists. Later, you will proceed to the hotel and have an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06:

Junagarh ? Dhank ? Khambhalida ? Jamnagar

Rise and shine in early in the morning and have your mouth-watering breakfast. On the 6th day of this Gujarat Buddhist journey, you will explore the nearby attractions of Junagarh. Firstly, you will visit Dhank Caves, which are 7th-century caves and renowned for eloquent carving that is influenced by Buddhist and Jain culture. After that, you will head to Khambhalida Caves, which are the 4th and 5th Century consisting of 3 caves constructed by a branch of the Buddhist tradition and are home to several Ashokan inscriptions. Later, you will get a straight drive to Jamnagar. On arrival, you will check-in to the hotel and have some rest in your room. Spend the remaining day at your leisure. Later, enjoy the scrumptious dinner and get a sound sleep in your comfy room.

Day 07:

Jamnagar ? Bhuj

Wake up in the early morning and enjoy the luscious breakfast. Once done, you will start your sightseeing tour of Jamnagar. You will visit Marina National Park and enjoy the great diversity of animals. This park is expanded over an area of 458 square kilometers, where you can spot birds, fishes, reptiles, and many more. Next, you will visit Swaminarayan Temple and feel the spiritual ambiance. After that, you will drive to Bhuj. On arrival, you will check into your pre-booked hotel and unwind yourself. Day 08:

Bhuj Sightseeing Tour

Be ready in the morning and enjoy your delicious morning meal in your hotel. Kickstart your day by visiting Siyot Caves, which are 1st-century caves and well-known for being blessed with the footprints of Lord Buddha. This is one of the most admirable and most-visited places. People come here for an insightful experience of Spirituality. After that, you will move to Narayan Sarovar, which is one of the sacred destinations for Hindus. It is said that the holy Saraswati River had an outlet here. You will explore the attractions of Kutch and weave some unforgettable memories. Day 09:

Ahmedabad and departure

It is the last day of your 9 days Gujarat Buddhist tour. Wake up in the morning and have your tempting breakfast. Once you finish your breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and get an assisted drive to Ahmedabad Airport for your onward journey.
