Day 01:

Chennai

This exclusive tour starts when you arrive at Chennai airport. After reaching the airport, you will meet our tour representative, who will assist you in a private vehicle to the pre-booked hotel. On arrival at the hotel, you will complete the check-in process at the reception and head to your room. First, relax to straighten your back in your room and freshen up. Later, you can stroll around the hotel on your own in the evening. Next, get back to the hotel for a delicious meal and slide into the comfortable bed for an overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 02:

Chennai

Get up early and start this day with a tasty meal in your room. Today, set out of your hotel to explore the attractions in Chennai. You will embark on a sightseeing tour and cover museums, Marina Beach, Fort St. George, and Santhome Cathedral Basilica. After exploring these famous tourist attractions in Chennai, you will return to your hotel. Give your tummy a treat with a delicious dinner, and go to your bed for a peaceful overnight stay in your room.

Day 03:

Chennai - Bangalore

Wake up early, have your meal, and pack your bag to check-out from this hotel. You will be transferred to the railway station to board the train from Bangalore in the morning. Upon arrival in Bangalore, meet our representative and get transferred to the pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon, go on a sightseeing tour of Bangalore, which includes Bull Temple, Tippu's Palace, Lalbaug, Ulsoor Lake, and the Venkatappa Art Gallery. After enjoying this day by exploring the attractions, get back to your hotel to have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 04:

Bangalore - Mysore (143 km/ 3 hr 20 min-approx.)

Wake up, have breakfast, and check-out from the hotel to reach Mysore by road. On the way, visit Srirangapatnam and spend some time here. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel at reception and head to your pre-assisted room. In the evening, visit the Brindavan Gardens. Later, you will come back to your hotel to stay overnight at the hotel of Mysore.

Day 05:

Mysore - Ooty (125 km/ 3 hr-approx.)

Have breakfast in the morning, and embark on a sightseeing tour of Mysore. Today, you will visit Golden Royal Elephant, Mysore Palace, and Durbar Hall. After that, visit the Chamundeshwari Temple, located atop the hill. Enjoy the panoramic views from the hill, and you can also click some beautiful pictures. Later, leave by road for Ooty. Upon arrival at your pre-booked hotel, check-in at reception and head to your room. Next, have your dinner and enjoy an overnight stay on a comfortable bed.

Day 06:

Ooty

In the morning, set off to explore the Botanical Gardens, and the rest of the day is free for individual activities. Today, you are free to indulge in activities that you want to enjoy in Ooty. However, the charges for other activities are not included in this tour package. Later, come back to your hotel for dinner and peaceful sleep in the hotel.

Day 07:

Ooty - Cochin (275 km/ 7 hr 20 min-approx.)

Wake up, munch your morning meal, and drive towards Cochin. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up in your room and unwind for a while. Later, embark on a sightseeing tour covering the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, etc. Finally, return to your hotel for dinner and stay overnight in Cochin.

Day 08:

Cochin - Periyar (148 km/ 4 hr-approx.)

Rise and shine, have breakfast, and leave by road for Periyar. Upon arrival, check-in at the pre-booked hotel. Take some rest in your room and freshen up. In the afternoon, take a tour to witness the scenic beauty of Periyar. After enjoying the natural beauty, you will return to your hotel for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 09:

Periyar - Kumarakom (112 km/3 hr 20 min-approx.)

After breakfast, you will be ready to take the park tour and boat ride on Periyar Lake. After admiring the natural beauty while taking a boat tour, get back to your hotel to check-out and leave for Kumarakom by road. On reaching one of our listed hotels in Kumarakom, check-in at the reception and head to the room. Have your dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 10:

Kumarakom

In the morning, have your meal, and relax in the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy cruising through the palm-fringed backwaters of Kumarakom. During this cruise, you will admire the natural beauty around you. After adding this experience to your travel memories, get back to your hotel, munch dinner, and stay overnight in Kumarakom.

Day 11:

Kumarakom - Alleppey (33 km/ 1 hr-approx.)

Rise and shine in the morning and start this day with a crunchy meal. After that, you will check-out from the hotel and board the houseboat. First, enjoy the houseboat cruise through the canal, rivulets, and coconut groves. Next, have your delicious dinner and stay overnight on board the houseboat.

Day 12:

Alleppey - Kovalam (160 km/4hr 20 min-approx.)

Start this day with a tasty and crunchy meal. Once you finish it, you will check-out of the houseboat and leave for Kovalam by road. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and head to your pre-assisted room for relaxation. If you want you can stroll near the hotel. In the late evening, have dinner and slide into your bed for a comfortable overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 13:

Kovalam

The day 13 of this Exclusive South India Tour package is booked with a full day's relaxation and rejuvenation on Kovalam Beach. You can walk on the golden sands, watch the interplay of sand and surf, indulge in adventurous water sports, and get pampered through Ayurvedic massages. After enjoying this day with beachy vibes, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14:

Kovalam (Trivandrum) - Mumbai

Wake up in the early morning, much your meal, and get transferred to the Trivandrum airport to catch a flight for Mumbai. Upon arrival, meet our representative, who?ll assist you in a smooth transfer to the hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 15:

Mumbai

In the morning, have your crunchy breakfast, and drive to the international airport to board a flight for your onward destination.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
Though Bharatatva provides all three meals, that is breakfast, dinner and Bharatatva treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.

30% Cancellation for any land package bookings 15 Days before departure.
