Day 16 :

Ooty - Departure

On the last day of the tour, you will be transferred to the nearest airport to catch your homebound onward flight. The tour ends here.

Day 01 :

Chennai (Arrival)

Upon arrival in Chennai, our tour representative will meet you and assist you in a smooth transfer to the hotel pre-booked for your stay. For the rest of the day, relax in the comforts of your hotel.

Day 02 :

Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram

On the 2nd day, venture out for a full-day excursion in the city. After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour at Marina Beach, where the blue sky above, soft sand below, and peace all around will offer you a relaxing experience. Next, visit the Government Museum in Chennai, the second-oldest museum in India. There are several other places that you can visit after this, such as MGR Film City, Breezy Beach, Arignar Anna Zoological Park, and Ashtalakshmi Temple. The afternoon will be spent visiting Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram. Overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 03 :

Chennai - Pondicherry

Post an early morning breakfast and drive towards Pondicherry. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Pondicherry and rest for a while. After having your lunch, start your half-day sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Pondicherry - Swamimalai

Early morning, take a road journey to Swami Mailer from Pondicherry. Swami Mailer is a tribal village resort. On the way, visit Gangaikonda Cholapuram and Chidambram. Once you arrive in Swamimalai, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05 :

Swami Malai - Tanjore - Trichy

On the 5th day of your South India Tour from Chennai, you will travel by road from Swami Mailer to Trichy. On the way, you can visit the Tanjore temple, also known as the temple of Lord Shiva. Upon arrival in Trichy, check into the resort to relax. Thereafter, set off to explore Srirangam and Rock Fort temple. Stay overnight in Trichy.

Day 06 :

Trichy - Madurai

Today, you will drive from Trichy to Madurai, which is located at a distance of about 142 km from Trichy. Reach by afternoon, check into the hotel, and after some rest, go out to explore tourist attractions in Madurai.

Day 07 :

Madurai ? Rameshwaram/Kodaikanai

The seventh day is kept for a whole day of sightseeing in Madurai. Begin your sightseeing tour at Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, primarily dedicated to Parvati, also known as Meenakshi, and her husband, Shiva. Next, we'll visit Samanar Hills, a hill rock complex that once housed Tamil Jain monks. Now you can choose to visit an excursion either to Kodaikanal or Rameshwaram. In the evening, return to your hotel to spend the night.

Day 08 :

Madurai - Kanya Kumari

Start in the morning from Madurai to Kanya Kumari, the meeting point of three oceans and the last end of India.

Day 09 :

Kovalam

The day is spent at leisure to see the various sights and scenes at Kovalam, including the beautiful beaches. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 :

Kovalam - Periyar

On the tenth day of your tour, leave by road for Periyar early in the morning. The distance is about 276 km. By afternoon, arrive in Periyar, followed by check-in at the hotel. After some rest, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar for wildlife sightseeing. Overnight in Periyar.

Day 11 :

Periyar - Kottayam

Today, head straight to Kottayam backwaters from Periyar, which is around 115 km away from Periyar, and check into a Kettuvalam (Houseboat). Enjoy a cruise ride during the day and spend the night on board Kettuvalam.

Day 12 :

Alleppey - Cochin

This morning, check out from the houseboat drive towards Cochin, a 56 km drive from Alleppey. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and relax in your room. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 13 :

Cochin

Embark on a sightseeing tour in the morning to see the beautiful attractions of Cochin. The evening is free to see a wonderful Kathakali Dance performance at an exclusive venue. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14 :

Cochin - Ooty

Today, leave by road for Ooty, which is at a distance of about 280 km from Cochin. Upon arrival, check into the hotel, and the remaining day is at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 15 :

Ooty - Coonoor

Enjoy a full-day sightseeing excursion in Ooty and also visit Coonoor. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
