Day 01:

Arrival in Guwahati

Your Meghalaya tour with Haflong starts with arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Bharatatva Holiday representatives will assist you to your hotel, where you will check in and unwind. After some rest, proceed for local sightseeing. Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, Balaji Temple, and Umananda Temple with Kalashetra. After spending time outdoors for a while, come back to the hotel for a comfortable sleep.

Day 02:

Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (190 km/ 4 hr)

Post a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Kaziranga National Park (4 hours), a UNESCO world heritage site known for its one-horned rhinoceros. Once arrive, check-in the stay at the national park and have a comfy stay.

Day 03:

Kaziranga National Park - Haflong (275 km/ 6hr)

Wake up early for elephant safari. Come back, have breakfast, and then proceed for a jeep safari at the Kaziranga National Park. Witness the rare and endangered species here. Later, check out from the stay and move towards Haflong (4.5 to 5 hours). Check in on arrival and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Haflong.

Day 04:

Haflong

Arise to a hearty meal and enjoy your morning. Later, proceed for the Haflong local sightseeing tour. This tour will cover Haflong Lake, Haflong Hill, Maibong, and Jatinga. Return to the hotel after the sightseeing and hop onto the bed for a relaxing sleep.

Day 05:

Haflong - Nagaon (210 km/4 hr 15 min)

After having breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Nagaon, which is a 4-hour drive away, visit Nagaon from Haflong today. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities and spend the day at leisure. Then, explore Nagaon on your own or stay at the hotel.

Day 06:

Nagaon - Shillong (180 km/ 4 hr 10 min)

Have a fulfilling breakfast on day 6 of your Meghalaya trip with Haflong. Later check out and proceed from Nagaon to Shillong (approx. 4 hours drive). En route, visit Umiam Lake and soak in the natural beauty here. Continue your drive to Shillong and once reached, check-in at the hotel and unwind. In the evening, you can explore the Police Bazaar on your own. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 07:

Shillong - Cherrapunji - Shillong

Day 7 of your Meghalaya with Haflong tour is reserved for an excursion to Cherrapunji (2 hours from Shillong). So, post breakfast, make your way to one of the most beautiful places in Northeast India. Visit the waterfalls, viewpoints, and more in Cherrapunji. After the tour, come back to Shillong via Elephant Falls. Hop onto the bed for a restful sleep.

Day 08:

Shillong - Mawlynnong - Shillong

After breakfast, take a 3-hour road trip to Mawlynnong village. Visit the Living Root Bridge, one of the extremely popular places in this region. Also, explore the picturesque village and relish the natural beauty, pure air, and scenic landscapes. After the tour ends, come back to your hotel in Shillong and retire for the day.

Day 09:

Shillong to Guwahati (98 km/ 3 hr)

After a healthy breakfast, check out, and explore the local market of Shillong. Later, proceed to Guwahati (2 hours). You will be transferred to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of the Meghalaya and Haflong tour.

Advanced Preparation

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
