First Question: Baggage
Vacation days total (not including travel days) = X (ten days, for example).
The number of pairs of garments you'll need for the trip is equal to half of "X" (5 days - 5 pairs).
Your luggage will decrease by half as a result. But how are you going to handle this?
First response: Just take the old clothing to a local laundry facility and get it laundered after 40–50% of the journey (4-5 days).
Benefit 1: Paying a small amount for washing is preferable to paying a large amount to the airlines for extra weight.
Benefit 2: Obviously, carrying the lighter bag is easier. Anywhere you choose, you can quickly shift, move, and switch. No difficulties. Go like a pro!
First truth: After the trip, you'd feel much better about carrying less stuff.
Question 2: Reservations:
Don't think that every trip is a lifetime. Don't expect total relaxation from this trip or any trip. It would only leave you frustrated, unsatisfied and wanting more. So you ended up on another trip and another and so on. You can do this instead.
2. answer - pick the best site and stick with it. Ideally, it should have the following features:
a) Easy to use Android/iOS application. Eg: Cleartrip, Makemytrip
b) Reasonably good integration with your email address. Eg: Google trips, Tripcase, Tripit
c) If you don't have internet connection then timely text message updates / call helpline. Makemytrip's tip is considered above average.
If you stick with one site that scores above average on the important things, you will get the most out of one place.
Truth 2 - Don't just look for deals, discounts . and all the bells and whistles. Cashback has an expiration date (preferably 2-3 months after your trip) and websites keep reminding you to take advantage of it. If we reuse 10 dollars, we usually spend 90 more on a vacation we don't need. We feel like we're missing out on a free benefit, but it's not free. You pay the remaining amount that you would not have otherwise paid.
Question 3: Fold garments to conserve space. Really?
Answer 3: It's completely nonsensical. Though what good is it, you might be able to spare room for one or two t-shirts?
According to Answer 1, simply bring what you'll need for the journey. Never bring something with the thought, "What if I need this?" You're not going to! Keep it empty even if you think there might be room for something else you could buy. That way, you won't need to bring along an additional bag.
Additionally, bring no more than one or possibly two pairs of shoes. Depending on where you're going, choose shoes that will be comfortable to wear all day on foot.
For example, flip-flops are appropriate for visiting casual tourist locations like beaches.
Question 4: Are you expecting to meet someone? Devil Laughs
Never expect to meet someone on the road. When you travel, your mind is relaxed to varying degrees. Most of the time, it's just your state of mind, not where you are. Your brain is open to the world around you and you realize that you are better than at home.
All these feelings make you feel like you are on vacation. But no! People are different there just like you. You won't be really happy if you are looking for happiness elsewhere other than your own self. Trust yourself to have fun and maybe make some friends at the local shacks or stores for familiarity but don't expect to find any romantic partners (unless you want someone who you won't ditch them when you see their real self after the vacation).
Truth 4 - Even if you are willing to have a long-term relationship, maybe the other person just wants to enjoy their time and get it out of their system to go back to their regular life. This will leave you heart-broken and make you crave for relaxation, which was not the point of this trip.
Question 5: Go back home to your boring life. NO! it's not boring, you interesting sadist!
Your life is not boring! Being able to participate in this journey makes it clear how you can safely leave and return home despite all your fears. Your confidence was greater than your fear and your success is more than just traveling. This is something only you can understand. Even if other people did the exact same trip, they wouldn't know what you're doing.
You just came back from your trip refreshed and wiser. Maybe even brush up on your travel planning skills so you don't have to read articles like this anymore! Think about it. If you were to write down what you learned from this trip, not in detail, but in short but powerful stories to teach your future self when you feel down. Ah! How about?
Write them down. Just one line or maybe two. The next time you feel like your life is boring, look through these pages and reminisce about your moments. After all, these pages and lines are your creation, keep them because no one else learned what you did.
