Day 01
Kolhapur (3 Nights)
Tour Guests will arrive at Kolhapur Airport/ Railway Station as per the scheduled arrival time and proceed to hotel. Upon arrival, they will meet Bharatatva tour manager.
Today we visit, Shahu Palace - a historical landmark in Kolhapur built using black stone is a residence Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaja. Then we stroll around Rankala Lake - popular evening spot and recreation centre of the city.

Day 02
Kolhapur - Panhala Fort - Kolhapur
Today we visit Shree Mahalaxmi Ambadevi Temple - built in Chalukya architectural style this temple is dedicated to Mahalaxmi along with Mahavishnu and is worshipped by locals as Ambabai. Then we see Kushti Akhada and experience glimpses of daily routine of Pailwans.
Then we get an opportunity to taste and shop various kind of jaggery in nearby local market.
Later we proceed to Panhala Fort - initially built by Raja bhoja in the late 12th century and later modified by Marathas. The Indo-Islamic style fort is famously known for being residences to the great Maratha ruler Shivaji and the Queen Regent of Kolhapur - Tarabai. Here we see, Andhar Bavadi - a three-storey structure that kept the main water source of the fort hidden from the besieging enemies and protected it against poisoning, Ambarkhana - looming granaries situated at the heart of the fort that helped Shivaji Maharaj to withstand the long siege of 5 months by Siddhi Johar before the famous Battle of Pavan Khind, Kalavanticha Mahal - Mahal was used by the Bahamanis as the residence for the court ladies, Sajja Kothi - a single-storey structure looking over the deep valley below and was used as an imprisonment chamber for Sambhaji by the orders of his father, Shivaji. Teen Darwaza, Chor Darwaza, Wag Darwaza and Rajdindi Bastion - a Secret exit out of this grand fort that was used by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to escape during the battle of Pavan Khind.

Day 03
Kolhapur
Today we visit Siddhagiri Math also known as Siddhagiri Gramjivan Museum. This museum showcases different aspects of Gramjivan. This initiative was the dream of Mahatma Gandhi and was created through the vision and efforts of the Siddhagiri Gurukul Foundation. Then we proceed to Khidrapur - small village on the banks of Krishna River. Here we visit Kopeshwar Temple - a beautiful ancient Shiva Temple known for its exquisite carvings, elephant pillars and ancient architecture. Temple�s exterior reveals a captivating narrative of intricate carvings and symbolic representations. Most remarkable is the Harihar roopa of Shiva which is fusion of two deities�Shiva and Vishnu. Later we drive back to Kolhapur, upon arrival we have free time for shopping of world famous Kolhapuri footwear, Irkali Sarees and Kolhapuri Saaj - authentic handmade jewelry known for its intricate designs and grandeur.

Day 04
Kolhapur - Pawankhind - Amba Ghat (1 Night)
Today we visit Pawankhind - a mountain pass previously known as Ghodkhind is the place where trusted Maratha warrior Bajiprabhu Deshpande and his 300 comrades fought against army of 10,000 soldiers of AdilShah until Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj reach to the Vishalgad Fort. After hearing cannon firing from Vishalgad Bajiprabhu scarified his life to protect the King and hence the place was renamed as PawanKhind which means a sacred pass where Bajiprabhu Deshpande and other Maratha Warriors happily honored lives to protect their king. Here we see Newly built Bastion and Pawankhind Memorial.
Then we proceed to Amba Ghat - located at the height of 2000 ft. above sea level, Amba ghat has a historical significance as it served as bridge between Kolhapur and Konkan provinces during reign of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Upon arrival, we take a Jeep safari through the region to see Devrai, and Manoli Dam.

Day 05
Amba Ghat - Devgad (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Devgad - a town on coast of Arabian sea globally known for its exports of locally grown Alphonso mangoes. Upon arrival, we visit, Devgad Windmill Garden and Enjoy thrill of beach zip lining adventure sport activity. It begins at a cliff near windmill garden and ends at the Devgad Beach and gives us amazing vistas of Arabian sea, Devgad Lighthouse and Ruins of Devgad Fort. Then we have free time to stroll around the beach.

Day 06
Devgad - Malvan - Tarkarli (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Tarkarli - quaint village in a Konkan region is a home to serene backwaters and stunning beaches.
En route we enjoy photography at Taramumbari Sea Bridge and Spots on Sagari Mahamarg.
We also visit Kunkeshwar Temple - a beautiful sea side temple also known as Kashi of South Konkan was built by Yadava kings in 1100 A.D. and rejuvenated by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj time to time. Upon arrival, we take a mesmerizing boat ride through Karli Backwaters. We see the beautiful confluence of Karli River and Arabian Sea. While sailing through tranquil waters we also witness the lush green forest and various fauna on the banks of river.

Day 07
Tarkarli
Today we enjoy Dolphin Safari and see, Kawada Rock Island, Shimpla Point, Sarjekot Sangam and the Golden Rock.
Then we take a Breathtaking parasailing ride with a speed boat and Scuba diving in clear water of Arabian Sea at Tsunami Island.
We also get a chance to enjoy the various water sports like Banana Boat ride, Bumper ride, Jet ski Ride on our own.
Then we visit Sindhudurga Fort - a sea fortress built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to encounter rising influence of foreign merchants and to curb the rise of Siddis of Janjira. Here we see small temple dedicated to Shivaji Maharaj and footprints and handprints of Shivaji Maharaj that are carved in limestone.
Later we have free time for shopping.

Day 08
Tarkarli - Sawantwadi - MOPA (Goa) - Departure to Hometown
Today we proceed to Sawantwadi - an integral part of Konkan region and former capital city of Kingdom of Sawantwadi ruled by Sawant Bhonsale royal clan of Maratha empire. Upon arrival, we visit Sawantwadi Palace - historical gem that boasts a magnificent square fa�ade dorned with rooms on all sides.
Then we have free time for shopping at Local Wooden toys market.

Tour guests will proceed to the airport as per their scheduled group flight departure time and start their journey back home.

For transfers and sightseeing we use small cars / Tempo Travellers / Mini or big coaches depending on the respective tour group size.
The seating arrangement in the coach is based on booking priority. Seat numbers 1 & 2 are reserved for Tour Managers and Tour Guides. Seat numbers 3 & 4 are reserved as Prime Seats which can be availed by paying an additional cost.
In case of small cars there will be 4-6 guests in one car as per the capacity and guests occupy the seats on rotation basis.
If you wish to utilise the vehicle solely for yourself or your family or you would like to upgrade the vehicle, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability.
Sightseeing attractions:
Given the current dynamic situation, some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice. Sometimes due to rush or changes in the reservation system, entrance to the sightseeing attractions may be unavailable; in such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing place if possible or refund of the entry fee will be given.
Hotels:
The hotels on tour are comfortable and have been appreciated by Bharatatva�s guests in the past. Kindly check your respective hotels before booking your tour.
Room Sharing:
Sometimes, two single unfamiliar travellers (gender - alike) share a room, should read the instruction paper along with the terms & conditions and abide by the same.
Meals:
On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary.
In case of early arrival or late departure due flight timings, guests will be provided an additional meal/s without any extra cost.
In case of connecting flights, if the transit time exceeds beyond three hours, guests will be provided with a meal/meal coupon.
Generally, meals are provided in the restaurants. On certain occasions, packed meals will be provided for the ease of itinerary operation/sightseeing.
Breakfasts are generally Indian or Continental whereas, lunches and dinners are in the form of set menu and are Indian OR Indian along with a regional dish OR regional cuisine OR popular street food.
At religious places due to restrictions, only vegetarian food will be served. At all other places, meals are a combination of Vegetarian or Non Vegetarian food items.
